Friday 7 April 2006, 13.00–14.00

Henry Fuseli was one of the first to promote the cult of the satanic hero, and had a huge influence on subsequent Romantic iconography, including Lord Byron's villain-heroes. Writer and lecturer Antony Peattie establishes the context for their re-evaluation of the heroic and traces the path between them.
