Philip Hoare, author of England's Lost Eden: Adventures in a Victorian Utopia, discusses the impact of Utopian and New Age beliefs on southern England's last wooded wilderness, and how the practitioners of some of the more extreme beliefs of the period created myths of their own in the heart of the New Forest.
