Renowned Danish artist collective SUPERFLEX develop the means to create new ways of producing, thinking, acting, speaking and imagining. FREE BEER applies open-source methods, to a traditional, globally available product – beer. Late at Tate Britain presents FREE BEER and Counter-Game Strategies in association with ProjectBase.
Everyone is a winner, a free beer to the first 70 participants. Tickets available from the Rotunda information desk for a specified time, and on a first come first served basis.

The two Teds are conceptual disc jockeys, their principle concept being 'fun', their last concept was 'yacht rock', their next concept will be 'cheese and wine hits'.
Look out for their striking uniforms, and uniform good looks. They will be playing 3 sets, soundtracking 25 years of the Turner Prize.

Tonight, four of Britian’s outstanding comedians take the stage to defend four emerging artists who work at Tate. With only one winner you will need to listen, consider and vote. Tonight, the winner of the Turner Prize will be your choice!!
Host, Amy Lamé, is a writer, tv and radio presenter, performer, nightclub hostess and all round chubby glamour puss.
Advocates:
Simon Munnery was the creator of Alan Parker - Urban Warrior and founder of The League Against Tedium. His BBC series, "Attention Scum" was nominated for a Golden Rose of Montreux. Simon has chosen Lloyd Durling who works at Tate Britain as an art handling technician. Lloyd's drawings of flowers and mushrooms are intricately produced
with a biro.
Tom Bell is a former vice president of Cambridge Footlights who is now a regular presenter of shows on Resonance FM. His recent Edinburgh
show received a rave review in The Scotsman. Tom has picked a duo artist team, Roberta & Wen. Roberta Segura, who works in the Tate Bookshop and Wen Wu, who is a gallery guide are both portrait painters who are planning
to collaborate and exhibit together.
Josie Long recently won the Best Newcomer award at the Edinburgh Fringe for her show, "Trying is good" previously she has also won the BBC's new comedy award. Staff number 1499 (Adrian Shaw), who Josie will support, works in Tate information and has been selected because of the "Sick Happy Idle" publication he makes with his brothers.
Robin Ince is a comedy writer, presenter, impressionist and stand-up. In 2006 his Book Club project won the Time Out Award for outstanding achievement in comedy. Robin has picked Barry Thompson who works in the Tate Bookshop. Barry's drawings and paintings represent a moment in time, ideas and beliefs from childhood and adolescence.

Renowned Sommelier and Tate wine buyer Hamish Anderson is joined by artist and curator Anya Gallaccio and comedian Amy Lamé to lead a tutored wine tasting whereby all views will be considered. There will be wine, winners and much discussion.

Select invites British-based artists to choose a programme of performance, film and video works that reflect their interests and influences. Tonight is curated by Turner-prize nominated artist, Mark Titchner. Using artists' films and diverse fragments of found films Mark Titchner's night explores the psychology of excess, control and altered states.

Nina Jan Bier and Marie Jan Lund create two new works for Late at Tate Britain. The two artists have been collaborating since 2002 and continue to initiate situations that focus on tensions in different social contexts

Alice Rawsthorne
Alice Rawsthorne, a judge from 1999, has subsequently led the world of contemporary British design as critic, curator and journalist. Tonight she recalls her memory of being part of the Turner prize.
Art Now: Seb Patane
Seb Patane creates pared-down tableaux made up of drawings, adapted found imagery and objects, as well as sound and live performance often arranged around sculptural constructions. Resurrecting material that contains a particular potency for him, Patane is drawn to ideas of tribalism, urban mythology and altered states. Patane is making a new installation for the Art Now opening tonight.
