Curtain Raisers
An Adventure through the Underworlds of Degas, Sickert and Toulouse-Lautrec

Come and experience some of the sounds, flavours and characters featured in the paintings of Edgar Degas, Walter Sickert and Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec. Sip champagne at the bar*, visit the exhibition and listen to chanteuse Barb Jungr perform a personal songbook inspired by the exhibition. Then immerse yourself in Christopher Green’s intimate theatrical experience. This bespoke performance piece, made in response to the exhibition, is directed by Cal McCrystal. Green is a writer and performer, known for his comedy work with Tina C and Ida Barr. He won the 2004 Olivier Award for Best Entertainment for his work with the Duckie Collective.
