Late at Tate Britain

Friday 2 September 2005, 18.00–22.00

Lo Recordings present a 'Sound for a Picture Evening' ; a special programme of Library Music and cinematic sounds from Jon Tye, Jerry Dammers and Jonny Trunk, with projections of 1960s and 70s library record artwork. Essentially produced for use as background music, Library Music varies from weird and wonderful electronic explorations through to bizarre and experimental jazz, funk and rock.

Explore the outstanding A Picture of Britain and Joshua Reynolds exhibitions for half price in their final days and a talk in Reynolds by Norman Rosenthal and Tate curator Martin Postle on Joshua Reynolds, the role of celebrity and the Royal Academy.

There will also be a selection of artist Alex Bag's films screened in the auditorium.
