Join Robert Upstone, the lead curator of Modern Painters, for a lunch time lecture on the thinking and research behind this exhibition. Looking at the work of Sickert, Gillman, Gilmore and others, Upstone will chart these painter's interests in modernity and the new urban landscape of London in the 1910s and also reveal the curatorial process and the five year research project behind this exhibition.
