Since 2005, artist Leo Asemota has been evolving The Ens Project as a vehicle, at different times both sculptural and performative, to explore the individual in contemporary society. In this lecture and gallery visit Asemota explains how his practice expands traditions of portraiture through the complex layering of history, culture, memory and identity.
