Artist Laura Oldfield Ford's work depicts dystopian scenes, class conflict and urban ruins using ballpoint pen, fluorescent spray paint and acrylic. Ford makes work that both imagines a future London whilst simultaneously sifting through the detritus of history.

For this talk and gallery visit Oldfield Ford will talk about her work in relation to the apocalyptic work of John Martin (1789-1854) and his group of three 'Judgement pictures' currently on display at Tate Britain.
