The Clore Galleries are housing drawings from the Tate Collection, many of which have seldom, if ever, been exhibited before.

This is a rare chance to see some exceptional drawings by your favourite artists, dating from the seventeenth century to the present. The drawings are grouped thematically so you can compare and contrast the work of JMW Turner, William Blake, Henry Moore, Stanley Spencer, Lucian Freud, Tacita Dean, Tracey Emin and many others.

The variety of work ranges from academic study to intimate self-expression, each fascinating with their exciting and often beautiful use of simple materials: pencil, chalk, charcoal and ink.
