Howard Hodgkin
Curator's Talk
Spanning Howard Hodgkin's entire career, this exhibition is a rare opportunity to consider his new work in the context of that of earlier decades. Curator Lizzie Carey-Thomas leads a tour of the exhibition tracing the evolution of his singular visual language from the portraits on canvas of friends and interiors of the 1960s through to the later, looser and more gestural paintings of the 1990s.
