Simon Starling
Turner Prize Artist's Talk
Simon Starling’s works, which he refers to as ‘experiments’, investigate the transformation of objects from one form to another and his sculptures document the narratives that take place as a result of his actions. He is short-listed for Turner Prize 2005 for his solo exhibitions at The Modern Institute, Glasgow; and the Fundació Joan Miró, Barcelona. Starling discusses his work with critic and curator Jeremy Millar.
