For families with children of 5 and under living in SW1
Following the success of Tiny Tate in 2005, Tate Britain once again hosted a special event for local families with young children on Sunday 9 July 2006.
Tiny Tate bought the collection to life with the 47th Regiment of Foot marching through the Duveen galleries with their muskets, fifes and drums, while Henry VIII and Queen Sheila prepared for a royal musical party.
Out on the lawns, young children played in the Pop Art Park and made surrealist costumes. There was also magical story-telling, medal making and the English National Ballet balancing and bending like sculptures.
