Cleaning London’s Black CabsStephen Murphy

Black cabs are more than just a symbol of London, they're a big business worth an estimated £1bn a year in fares alone. But this is not the kind of money that ever trickles down to a forgotten army of cleaners that keep the city's 20,000 taxis on the road. I wanted to document the dirty and difficult life of the people who clean London's black cabs. I wanted to show that it's a job that has barely changed in many years.
