Found Objects: Storytelling and the Everyday
Rosy Martin, photographer, and video artist, runs a number of practical workshops in which partici-pants share their responses to the exhibition's core themes of information gathering and the transfor-mation of the raw materials of everyday life. These responses are then used as a springboard for creating personalised assemblages, and the narratives suggested are investigated in relation to autobiography and fiction.

Intelligence Symposium
A one-day symposium exploring works and issues associated with the exhibition. Speakers include Laura Mulvey, Murdo Macdonald, two artists' panels and curators of the exhibition, Virginia Button and Charles Esche.

Blood, Booze and Bedlam
A visual tour of seasonal events throughout the British Isles and Islands by oral historian, Doc Rowe who has been documenting the vernacular tradition of song, dance and custom for over thirty years. The event is introduced by the artists Jeremy Deller and Alan Kane. This event is free but booking is essential.
