Stanley Spencer and Place: A Loss of Eden
Three Thursday evenings 18.00 - 20.00 and one Saturday 10.00 - 18.00.
This course explores the importance of the theme of place - ranging
from the domestic to more abstract ideas of national identity -
in Spencer's work. Speakers include Patrick Wright and Timothy Hyman,
Barry Curtis, David Gilbert and Kitty Hauser. The Saturday session
also includes a day-visit to Cookham and Burghclere
