Michael Archer 

The Pilgrims' Way 1971 Michael Archer is a critic and lecturer. He writes regularly for Artforum in New York and for Art Monthly and Untitled in London. The author of Art Since 1960, (Thames and Hudson, new edition 2002), he has also contributed to Installation Art (Thames and Hudson, 1994) and to monographs on Audio Arts (Academy, 1994), Mona Hatoum (Phaidon, 1997) and Richard Wilson (Merrell, 2001) as well as writing numerous catalogue essays. He is a tutor in art history at the Ruskin School of Drawing and Fine Art, University of Oxford, and a Visiting Research Fellow at Chelsea College of Art and Design.
