Exposed: The Victorian Nude analyses the presentation of the male and female nude in Britain during the reign of Queen Victoria (1837-1901). The exhibition is arranged in six rooms, which focus on different issues concerned with the production and reception of images of the nude. The exhibition is not divided into strict chronological order, although the first room deals with work produced early in the Victorian era, and the final room focuses on the last decades of the nineteenth century and the early years of the twentieth century.
