We Need Your Ideas...

Before we programme for the next academic year, we would really like to know what you think about our programmes and how we can improve them.

- What do you like and dislike about our programmes?
- What can we do better for schools and for teachers?
- What's missing that we could be offering?

Are you are able to spare a couple of hours and a few of your bright ideas after school on Monday 17 December to give us your views on these and other questions?

In return we'll give you some wine and food to keep you going, a voucher to spend in any of our Tate shops plus a goodie bag of education resources. If you are willing and able to join us please send us an email with the following details by 1 December.

- Name
- School (please state primary/secondary)
- Subject area or curriculum specialism, if appropriate
- Telephone/Mobile

Please note: The session will be held in London at Tate Modern and unfortunately we are not able to pay for transport or accommodation. Places are limited and we will contact you to confirm details.

Teachers in Partnership 2: Learning through Art in the Museum

Tate in partnership with the School of Education, Roehampton University
MA accredited module 20 credits

January - June 2008, Tate Modern and Tate Britain

This is a recent addition to the programme, Learning through Art in the Museum, with Roehampton University. It is designed to extend skills and approaches to working with historic, modern and contemporary art, such as those gained in Teachers in Partnership Year One, that are related to teaching art, craft and design. The module consists of eight taught workshops delivered at Tate Britain and Tate Modern, using specific works of art in the Collection to expand on contextual approaches to teaching and learning. It aims to develop peer-led learning in foundation, primary and secondary settings.
