The 3D view of the Henry Moore, Recumbent Figure (1938) is the first of a range of pilot special imaging treatments on our website, being supported by the New Opportunities Fund 'NOF-digitise' programme. We hope this innovative and highly accurate reconstruction of the sculpture allows you to explore the virtual work from many new angles – including underneath – none of which would be possible with the real object.

Tate produced the Shockwave 3D model of the Recumbent Figure in conjunction with a specialist interactive production company, Juniperblue. We will be working in partnership with a range of different technologies over the coming years to pilot further exciting new ways of representing our works.
