I’m Helen Little, Assistant Curator at Tate Britain, and the show I’ve been working on for the last two years is about to open! Join me on a Twitter tour of Lowry and the Painting of Modern Life

Lowry is a long overdue exhibition – the first in a public London gallery since the artist’s death in 1976. We hope it will enable visitors to look afresh at his well known industrial landscapes, or perhaps discover his work for the first time.

To introduce the show, I’ll be giving a live Tate Tour of the exhibition on Twitter the day before it opens, on Tuesday 25 June at 18:00 BST, and afterwards doing a live Q&A on Twitter too - so get your Lowry questions ready!

You can take part online by joining @Tate on Twitter and by using #TateTour to ask your questions (you’ll need a Twitter account). However, don’t worry if you don’t use Twitter, we’ll have all the posts up on my Lowry blog shortly. I’ll also be blogging about Lowry throughout the run of the show, and look forward to hearing your thoughts there too.

I hope you can join me on Tuesday!

Lowry and the Painting of Modern Life is at Tate Britain from this Wednesday, 26 June to 20 October
