We've just returned from our trip to the Venice Biennale and our minds are still boggling at the amount of art we've seen. Here is the first of our films, where the art critic Ben Lewis encounters Mike Nelson's extraordinary installation at the British Pavillion and meets the artist.

Mark Herron

Blown away by the early work - never seen it, had no idea of its content. The exhibition was full of surprises. Exhilarating.

the British Council which funds Biennale has turnover of £700m. £211m grants from Government & £500m from businesses (teaching English mainly) and 'fees'.But apparently 'lacks transparency' the Cabinet Office "will be establishing new procedures for reviewing public bodies to challenge whether there is still a requirement for them to continue and if there is that they are fit for purpose"

yes beg pardon, meant supports, not 'funds'.
