A couple of weeks ago I promised to tell you more about life behind the scene at Tate Enterprises so I thought I’d start with what I know best, the online shop.

I dare say you’ve been enjoying the newly revamped Tate site – easier to navigate and with lots of lovely new content – but have you spotted the changes we’ve made over at shop.tate.org.uk too?

Before - clunky and dated.

We’ve spent a long time working on it, and we’ve added lots of new features to make the site so much more interesting than it was before – even if I do say so myself. One of my favourite additions is the opportunity to ‘Look Inside’. They say you should never judge a book by it’s cover, and now you don’t have to! Take a sneak peak inside our latest exhibition catalogue or flick through the pages of one of our best selling children’s books – now you really have the chance to try to before you buy.

After - sleeker and smarter!

I also love our brand new Designers at Tate page. Our merchandise team are famous for creating exclusive collaborations with designers and artists, and we wanted to share more about the ideas and inspirations behind these ranges – plus you get to have a nose into the lives of some of Britain’s most creative talents!

So what do you think? We’re dying to know! It’s been a year in the making, and it’s been all about making things better for YOU, so tell us if you have any ideas or comments – we love hearing all of them.

I don't see a poster for the Pre-Raphaelites exhibit? Will there be one?
