What We Did

We thought about the range of buildings in Milton Keynes Centre and compiled a montage of them. We also used the Paint program on the computer to produce colour pictures and we used charcoal to make sketches. This helped develop the children's skills and made them more aware of their surroundings and helped them recognise the unique character of Milton Keynes.

The montage used a range of media to reflect the glass structures of the station, the outlines of some of the rooftops and the distinctive character of the unique setting.

Final Thoughts

Students: We enjoyed making models, sketches and producing watercolour paintings of Milton Keynes Buildings. Then when we went to MK Theatre to sing we recognised lots of the buildings in our picture.
