What We Did

We tried to represent some of the well known buildings in Milton Keynes and we also looked at the vast range of sports, theatre, music and art that takes place in the city. We worked in a variety of mediums - charcoal, pastels, watercolours, collage, papier mache and salt dough.

Final Thoughts

Students: We found it easier to work with salt dough than we did with clay as it was easier to model and create intricate designs. We also enjoyed learning more about our own area.

Teacher: The children really enjoyed the opportunity to work with so many different media and focus on their artwork, especially after the intensity of the SATs in previous weeks. They were very proud of the work that they produced.
