Modern Paint Podcast

How are modern paints different to traditional ones? Tate conservators and conservation scientists lead you on a tour around the paint surfaces of 10 key works currently on display at Tate Modern. The types of paints used, the ways in which they were applied, the surfaces and effects that were created and some of the changes that have occurred with time will all be discussed.

MP3 files can be downloaded to your player for listening as you walk through the galleries on Level 3, or you may choose to listen as you explore this website featuring detailed images of some of the works.
