MA in Artist Teachers and Contemporary Practices
The MA in Artist Teachers & Contemporary Practices programme has arisen from a collaboration between Goldsmiths, Tate Modern and the National Artist Teacher Scheme to enable art educators to engage practically and theoretically with contemporary studio practice, research and pedagogy. This three-year degree is:
Designed for teachers and educators to keep them in touch with contemporary practice
Delivered part-time to complement a full-time teaching post, characterised by evening, weekend and occasional vacation teaching sessions
Suitable for subject co-ordinators and primary and secondary teachers with a special interest in art, and community, further education or gallery educators.
