This special two-day advanced level workshop will give you an opportunity to enhance your skills as a printmaker as well as to meet the artist Allen Jones and discuss his screen prints. You will:

• Consider issues such as genre, gender, body and representation in a wider art historical context, looking at other contemporary prints with Tate’s Prints and Drawings Rooms registrar, Julia Beaumont-Jones
• Review these works from a technical point of view with a printmaker from the London Print Studio (LPS)
• Work at the LPS learning and experimenting with screen printing processes and printing your own designs.

Day two: either Thursday 8, Friday 9 or Saturday 10 April 2010, 10.00-16.30, London Print Studio, 6 places per day
