The Tate Teachers programme offers teachers, gallery educators and artists the opportunity to work with a practising artist to explore practical and creative approaches to engaging with art works.
Using the gallery as an alternative learning environment, courses are designed to equip teachers with a broad range of tools and techniques for exploiting the educational value of a visit to Tate.
Our courses benefit from the involvement of a diverse range of individuals from across the education sector, from primary to higher education. Participants are encouraged to use the sessions as an aid to making links with their particular specialist or subject area.
