Blake's London

After Blake dissolved his partnership as a print seller with James Parker he moved to No. 28 Poland Street. It was, according to Ackroyd, 'a narrow house of four storeys and a basement, with a single front and back room on each floor'. Blake lived here until 1791, when he moved to Lambeth.

The house was rebuilt in the late nineteenth century.
