Barry Flanagan

18 July – 29 October 2000

Selected from the Tate Collection and supplemented with recent work, this display reveals the diverse practice of this established sculptor. The selection illustrates the breadth of Flanagan's ideas and his innovative use of materials, from his strangely anthropomorphic sculptures made everyday materials during the 1960s through to his large scale bronzes which express the vitality of animal forms such as the hare.
