This study day will focus on the fascinating development of the Albert Dock from its historical origins to World Heritage Site. The story behind the construction and conversion of Hartley’s warehouses to the internationally renowned gallery of modern and contemporary art Tate Liverpool is today will be explored through presentations, workshops and architectural walks around the Dock area. For lovers of history, art, architecture and for the curious, enjoy a little explored but historically fascinating story.
