Modern Art at the Tate
Radical Art, Radical Thinking

Led by Judith Walsh and Dr Paula Barreiro López
Tuesdays 19 January 2010 – 23 March 2010, 10.00–12.00

Join us to discover how revolutionary changes in modern society (1860-1960) are represented by works on display at Tate Liverpool. We will look closely at how artists across Europe and North America reacted to the transformations in social order. No previous knowledge is necessary on this introductory course as we will spend much of our time in the gallery discussing how art was made and understood in this period of exciting change.
