Following Susan Meiselas' talk, join this internationally acclaimed photographer as she presents a master class looking in more depth at her key projects, with ample chance for questions and discussion on issues such as ethics and the responsibilities of photographers; the changing role of photojournalism; and photography as art or ethnography.
Ticket includes entry into the exhibition Making History: Art and Documentary in Britain from 1929 to Now.
Susan Meiselas work on the subjects of carnival strippers and the S&M parlour Pandora's Box has been published as monographs, and will be on display at Open Eye Gallery, Liverpool from 31 March 2006.
