Film Screening: Klimt (2006)

Thursday 28 August 2008, 19.30

Amidst the opulence and decadence of turn of the century Vienna, Klimt depicts the most productive, and tumultuous period of Gustav Klimt's life. From his affair with the French dancer Lea de Castro, to his battle with the government for control of his work, Klimt, as performed by John Malkovich and directed by award winning filmmaker Raul Ruiz, is a colourful, fast paced reflection of the artist and his work.
