Interested in sculpture? Then book an exclusive tour to find out how some of the key sculptural works in International Modern Art are made, and handle some of the materials artists used to make them.

Tours are available anytime during Gallery opening hours but they must be booked at least two weeks in advance. The tour can be on a one to one basis or for small groups (maximum ten people).

Tate Liverpool welcomes many visits from a diverse range of leisure groups every year. A private tour with your own Tate Guide is an excellent way to get the most out of a group visit to Tate Liverpool. Examples of the tours we offer include introductory tours; a chance to find out more about Tate, its history in Liverpool and the Albert Dock, plus a short introduction to our current exhibitions and displays, or special exhibition tours; an ideal opportunity for those who want to find out more about our major exhibitions.

We are pleased to organise bespoke packages to meet the needs and wishes of your group. Please get in touch and tell us what you’d like!

Private tours are for groups of up to 15 people per tour and are available Tuesday – Friday 10.00am – 4.00pm. Prices start from £75 per group (plus reduced exhibition admission where applicable). Refreshments served in a private room can be added to tours.
