A poem by Dave Ward commissioned by Liverpool Biennial 06 artist Chen Chieh-jen to accompany his film The Route.

Join us in the Liverpool Biennial 06 exhibition at Tate Liverpool to hear live poetry performances and music by Ade Jackson, Eleanor Rees, Dave Ward and Curtis Watt. Described as 'a solemn meditation on the people power of strikes and solidarity', Where the World Begins combines impressions of the waterfront and Liverpool involving Sandy, who used to sell the Echo at Pier Head, juxtaposed with scenes from the Liverpool docks and the dockers' dispute. The performance will take place in the galleries in front of Chen Chei-jen's work. All welcome.
