In-service Training Programme for Teachers
![]()
Over the last eight years, Tate Liverpool has developed an extensive programme
of in-Service courses for teachers. These can be day schools, short courses and
twilight sessions in the gallery and as outreach sessions, as well as special
courses for whole schools, LEAs and head teachers. The emphasis for all courses
is on looking at how displays and exhibitions can support and expand teaching
and learning in your school. A key feature of in-Service training is the focus
on teachers themselves, developing confidence to teach in the galleries and expand
on pupils' experiences back in school.
The basic rate for in-service courses is £50 for a full-day session. Special rates apply to whole school or LEA bookings and to outreach sessions.
