Multimedia Tour

This exhibition multimedia tour provides a wealth of information about Klimt’s art, life and times. It features photographs of Klimt and his circle as well as music of the period, comments from curators, archive film recordings, and behind the scenes footage showing how the exhibition came together.

Hire

You can hire an iPod touch and take the Multimedia Tour when you arrive at the gallery, price £3 (£2 concessions). You will need to bring a form of identification with you. Due to a limited stock of iPod touch players we regret that the tour is not pre-bookable and is not available to large groups.

The tour was developed by Tate Media and is the first in the UK to be designed specifically for the iPod touch and iPhone. It’s the latest development in Tate’s Bafta award-winning multimedia tour programme, which focuses on how new technology can be used to enhance gallery visits.
