A series of informal discussions exploring aspects of the music
industry for those who want to know how it operates, gain practical
tips and have an opportunity to meet professionals from the Liverpool
music scene.

June 5
Thomas Lang, Director of River Media and 3345 and singer-songwriter.
An introduction to the music industry through a personal account.

June 12
Tim Sheard, designer at Stamp Designs.
Looking at the role of marketing in promoting the club scene.

June 19
Paul Nolan, Cream freelance events manager and DJ. A talk and demonstration
on his route into the DJ and club industry.

June 26
Marion Leonard, University of Liverpool's Institute of Popular Music.
Developing image and identity and how the press packages a 'pop
star'.

Each £4, £3 concessions. If booking all four open surgeries
