Spectrum Colors Arranged by Chance II 1951 © 2009 The Museum of Modern Art / Scala, Florence |
Join us for more than a surprising evening of fun interactive events and performances inspired by the exhibition Colour Chart: Reinventing Colour, 1950 to Today.
The exhibition explores the beauty that is created when colour decisions are left to chance.
So if you're feeling blue, if you're in the red or maybe a bit green behind the ears - don't be yellow - cast off that coat of inky black, and let us add a bit of colour to your life.
High-profile artists from the UK and Europe, working with professional artists, community groups and young people, will create a sense of Colour Chart spilling throughout the gallery. Where will Fool Spectrum lead you?
This event is a partnership between Hope Street Limited, Tate Liverpool and Cocoloco.
Cocoloco are a performance company with a love of the bizarre and its relationship to everyday life.
Hope Street Limited is dedicated to the development of artists, art forms and arts in the community. This award-winning organisation has been central to the development of physical theatre, carnival arts, participatory arts, young people's theatre, international arts and cross art form collaboration. Fool Spectrum is the first of five exciting projects that form Hope Street's 2009 Apprenticeship Programme. Visit The Hope Street website for more information.
