Guidelines

Your chosen artist must be under the age of 50 and British, which in this case applies to all artists working in the UK and to British-born artists who may be working abroad. They also need to have had an outstanding exhibition or display in the twelve months preceding
1 May 2007.


The shortlist will be announced in the national press on 8 May 2007 and online.
