Members' commissioned artist
Tate Members' commissioned artist for 2009/10 is Jim Lambie
Over the last 50 years, Members have made a remarkable difference and helped Tate acquire over 400 important works.
As a thank you, Tate would like to give you a little something back.
Every year, an artist represented in the Tate Collection will be invited to become Tate Members’ commissioned artist – and this year is the turn of Jim Lambie.
So this means the artist’s work will appear in lots of places… dotted around this website, featured on your Tate membership cards and on other bits and bobs sent to you throughout the year, as well as on display in the galleries.
Art and artists are at the centre of everything Tate does and we hope you enjoy exploring Jim Lambie’s work.
