Juan Muñoz’s highly inventive installations – occasionally populated with incongruous or enigmatic figures – destabilize and disorientate the viewer. Here the artist has added an element of humour to heighten the sense of absurdity. This piece was one of those originally lent to Tate Modern for the opening in 2000.
