Planting Days at the Community Garden…

Wild Flowers & Herbs
10.30-12.30pm, Saturday 18 April 2009
Come and get involved in our wild flowers and herbs day! We need people to prepare the soil for planting, sow wild flower seeds, grow herbs from seed, make boquet garnis and lavender bags, and also Herb Garret participation! Members of BOST staff will be around to give a helping hand.

Green Roof and Tidy Up
10.30-12.30pm Saturday 23 May 2009
Come along and help develop a green roof for the garden shed as well as giving the garden a tidy up.

Party Preparations!!
10.30-12.30pm, Saturday 13 June 2009
Come and help us make the garden look beautiful for its 2nd birthday party. We will be planting dahlias, herbs, geraniums, labelling plants, making lilies and frogs for the pond and doing some folklore and storytelling! Members of BOST staff will be around to give a helping hand.

Second Birthday Party!! Thursday 25 June 2009
4.00-5.30pm, Family Event

Come along and join in the fun, enjoy the space there will be heaps of great gardening and arts activities for children! Free refreshments will be provided and all are welcome!
6.00pm-8.00pm, Evening Celebration
Help us to celebrate the Community Garden’s second birthday! There will be brilliant live music and free refreshments!

*London Open Squares – please note that the Community Garden is entering into London Open Squares this year. It will take place on Sunday 14 June 2009

A room in the gallery will be provided in case of wet weather
