BT: Bringing Innovation & Technology Together

Inside Today's Museum

Led by Michaela Ross
Wednesdays 24 September - 10 December (except 29 October)

This twelve-week course explores Tate Modern’s public activities, from hanging exhibitions to teaching schoolchildren. Participants learn about running a major museum in the context of current debates about institutions, architecture, collections, displays, audiences and tourism. Tate staff contribute to the course and participants have the opportunity to visit the Tate Store, Prints and Drawings Rooms, and Archive. No prior knowledge of art history or museum studies is necessary.
