Saturdays 20 February 2010 – 13 March 2010, 10.30–16.30

This new practical course is specially designed for those who wish to gain confidence and ability in life drawing. You'll focus on technique and materials, combining traditional drawing practices and materials with experimental ideas and mediums.

Studio Tate is a hands-on life drawing experience with practising artists offering group tuition as well as one-to-one guidance throughout the day. Participants will be introduced to the basics of drawing, building skill, knowledge and confidence over the course of the day and moving on to explore contemporary studio practice and experimental techniques.

The course is suitable for all levels of ability - providing a stimulating, accessible environment for beginners and an inspirational fresh look at life drawing for those with more experience.
