Philippe Grandrieux is the director of numerous documentary-essays, and two features constituting the most advanced point of contemporary cinematic research. This screening includes two shorts, plus New Life, which explores all the ways in which we fail to understand the world: sleep, dream, fantasy, trance, delirium, and the general confusion of bodies and perceptions.
