Cy Twombly
The Outrage

Wednesday 3 September 2008, 17.00

'The Outrage' (Marc Karlin, UK. 1995, 55') is radical director Mark Karlin's highly personal and reflective essay about the work of one of the most significant living painters, the American artist Cy Twombly. This distinctive and complex visual poem questions how his works, full of classical allusions, rarefied yet childlike, can speak to audiences today.
