Shai Heredia is director of Experimenta, the international festival for experimental cinema in India. Heredia’s selection for Projected Cities includes John & Jane by Ashim Ahluwalia; an intriguing documentary about tbe call centres in Mumbai that service America 24 hours a day, exploring personal identity and the impact of globalisation. Also included isTrip by Pramod Pati, a transfixing experimental film about Bombay, using pixilation and an abstract soundtrack to depict the rapid change of urban daily life in 1970.
