Written in 1932, Babaouo is an unfilmed script written by Salvador Dalí to complete the trilogy of Un Chien andalou and L'Age d'or. Michel Cussó-Ferrer has made this film partly as a documentary on the history of Dali in cinema, and partly as a fictional adaptation of the original script. In 1930s wartime Europe, Babaouo goes in search of his beloved wife Matilda in Portugal.
